DT 72 IE
iems Developed for GUITARISTS AND SINGERS
The DT 72 IE is precisely developed for guitarist and singers who require top-notch sound quality. The tailored sound signature delivers a subtle tuned bass, providing the necessary foundation without overpowering low frequencies.
The natural low mids ensure a transparent sound and reduce unwanted frequencies.
The adapted frequency response between 200 and 500 hertz compensates for the “occlusion effect,” which occurs when earphones close off the external auditory canal, often making the sound seem muffled – but not with the DT 72 IE IEMs.
In addition, their 16-ohm impedance makes them compatible with virtually any device.
Their IP68 certification ensures they're tough enough for studio and stage use. Hand made in Germany, the DT72 IE are built with precision and durability, making them the ideal investment.
TESLA.11
Reference sound thanks to innovative driver design
Central to the new DT 72 IE IEM is the German-engineered and manufactured TESLA.11 driver system, offering several advantages over conventional balanced armature systems. The dynamic driver system boasts stunning resolution and clarity, as distortion is reduced to a minimum.
A THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) of 0.02% demonstrates its superiority compared to conventional systems. The high impulse fidelity is also excellent, ensuring that acoustic events are always reproduced accurately and in detail. With a maximum sound pressure level of 137dB, the DT IEM series is one of the loudest and lowest distortion systems on the market.
SOUND INSULATION
-39dB
Live stages and event halls can be extremely loud. Therefore, it’s crucial that a high-quality in-ear monitor (IEM), delivers excellent sound quality and protects your hearing from long-term damage. All four DT IEM models have a passive sound insulation of -39dB, making them among the leading systems on the market.
CONSTRUCTION
DESIGNED FOR STUDIO & STAGE
The DT 72 IE IEM has been developed in collaboration with professional musicians and sound engineers. The result is an IEM capable of easily withstanding demanding studio and live situations. The high-quality cable, which minimises structure-borne noise, contributes to this.
The IEM is connected via a gold-plated MMCX connector system. The MMCX system offers a much more stable connection compared to 2-pin connections, where the pins can bend or break off.
HANDMAD
