PRO X Lightning® cable:
With the addition of the new 1.6m straight plug-n-play Lightning® cable to the PRO X range, professional studio quality sound on your iPhone, iPad or iPod is easily achievable thanks to the Plug-and-Play functionality of the cable and the built-in high-end Apple A2M digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). The functionality of the cable and built-in (DAC), together allow you to easily experience your mobile audio applications in the best quality.
In addition, the Lightning® connection cable not only provides the world renowned beyerdynamic sound on Apple iOS devices, it also expands the range of functions thanks to the integrated condenser microphone. You can use the headphones for phone calls between long studio sessions or for recording song ideas directly into your smartphone. Thanks to the integrated remote control, volume and track playback can be controlled intuitively.
PRO X USB-C cable:
With the introduction of the new 1.6m straight plug-n-play USB-C cable to the PRO X range, yet again professional studio quality sound by simply connection to a USB-C port that support the USB-C host or USB OTG (On-The-Go) function is easily achievable. The cable features a high-quality built-in ESS digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), ideal for connection with USB-C compatible smartphones, tablets or laptops.
Thanks to the high-end ESS digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), inconvenient adapters with insufficient sound quality are a thing of the past; now you can switch smoothly between different devices, with consistently high audio quality.
FUNCTIONALITY & DURABILITY
When it comes to functionality both cables not only offer a built-in digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), but also include an in-line microphone and remote control. The (DAC) makes it possible to change between different devices while maintaining a consistently high audio quality. The integrated condenser microphone allows using the headphones for phone calls; in addition, the integrated in-line remote control allows for volume adjustment and/or playback of tracks.
Each cable features a 3-pin mini XLR connection that is lockable to the headphone housing; the cable itself is well designed and durable, with both the remote control and condenser microphone integrated in a durable aluminium housing. The cables also have a IP65 certification; confirming protection against splashing water.
COMPATABILITY
The plug-n-play nature of the stand-alone PRO X Lightning® and USB-C cables also allow for an easy upgrade path for any pre-existing purchased PRO X headphones and the flagship DT 1770 PRO and DT 1990 PRO studio headphones.
